Class 3L

3L have stopped this plastic from floating in our oceans! We collected this much plastic in just 5 days and displayed it in our classroom to raise awareness of how much plastic we actually use!

Year 3’s new REAL project is ‘What floats with your boat?’ This is a project looking into our oceans and how we can help. It will also allow us to look at the different technology used to help scientists to research our oceans and how humans have an impact on the future of our oceans and ocean life.

Year 3 had the opportunity to do a video call with Captain Will who is the captain of the RRS Sir David Attenborough Polar Explorer. We were very excited and asked him lots of questions to help us with our REAL project.
