To: All Parents/Carers
The latest advice for anyone who has a high temperature or a new continuous cough is to self- isolate for seven days. We will keep you updated of any changes in line with Government and Public Health England advice and direction.
What to do if you have symptoms
Stay at home for seven days if you have either:
- A high temperature
- A new continuous cough
This will help protect others in your community while you are infectious. Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital. You do not need to contact NHS 111 to tell them you are staying at home. There is no testing facility for people who are self-isolating with mild symptoms.
If your child has had vomiting or diarrhoea please remember not to return to school until 48 hours have passed since their last episode of vomiting or diarrhoea.
The children are being encouraged to wash their hands regularly for the appropriate time as well as ensuring hands are dried thoroughly. There are no plans at present to close schools but should that be the case work would be set for children to complete.
Advice is changing daily and our regular and planned activities may be affected at very short notice so your understanding and flexibility is greatly appreciated.
Many thanks for your continued support during this time of uncertainty.
Mr. A. Tremarco
