Art Club
What a fantastic first session with Mrs Sloan’s observational drawing club. Today we looked at shape and detail and discussed how by taking out time to really see what is in front of us we can draw with increasing realism.
We started off saying ‘we can’t draw’ and ended with celebrating and critiquing each other’s first attempts.
By following advice from others, who have previously had a go, we learned that without trying, we can never find out what we are capable of!
Roll on next session when we can use peer critique to add to this great first go and extend onto the next draft of our drawings.

This session was all about critiquing our first attempts and then making them better. We used shading and started to notice the shapes and patterns on our skin! Who ever thought there was so much detail to add!
